Want some wow! Give your group this exclusive same-day neighbor island experience! Sail away to the private island of Lanai, snorkel in a pristine marine preserve, tour the island, enjoy a delicious breakfast and lunch, have a cocktail or two, see some whales (in season) or dolphins, and be back to your hotel in time for dinner. Now that's an incentive day!
Depending on the size of your group, take one or two exclusive state-of-the-art sailing catamarans over to this private island for a total daily ability (Monday - Friday) to serve up to 110 guests per day. Note more guests can be accommodated on a custom request basis. See more below.
Lana’i is home to the gorgeous Hulopo’e Bay, a protected Marine Preserve voted #1 beach in America by Dr. Beach. The Bay offers our guests unparalleled (and uncrowded!) crystal clear views of sprawling coral reefs and a wide array of tropical fish, active marine life, and on many days, even dolphins. Guests can also play volleyball, hike or enjoy a historic island tour.
Post activities, everyone is gathered at the beautiful Hale o Manele, to enjoy a full plantation BBQ lunch, complete with our famous Kiawe-grilled chicken.
On the return sail guests enjoy cold drinks, premium bar beverages, and ice cream sundaes to complete a truly memorable day.
Daily Participant Capacities
- This exclusive private island sailing experience can accommodate up to 149 guests per day utilizing 3 exclusive sailing catamarans.
- Sailing Catamaran Trilogy IV = 55 pax
- Sailing Catamaran Trilogy V = 49 pax
- Sailing Catamaran Trilogy VI = 45 pax
Hotel Transfer Times
- From Wailea, plan on approximately 45-minutes each way
- From Ka'anapali, plan on approximately 15-20 minutes each way
- From Kapalua, plan on approximately 20-30 minutes each way
Daily Schedule Option 1
- Check-in with Trilogy captain at Lahaina Harbor by 6:15 am
- Discover Lanai 6:30 am - 2:30 pm
- 3:00 pm - 3:30 pm return to your hotel
Daily Schedule option 2
- Check-in with Trilogy captain at Lahaina Harbor by 9:30 am
- Discover Lanai 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
- 6:30 pm - 7:00 pm return to your hotel
- Our Discover Lanai Excursion operates Monday - Friday. Some holidays are excluded.
- Exclusive vessel buyouts are required for exclusive sailing experiences. See costs below.
- Note: additional vessels can possibly be arranged. Costs and schedules may vary. If you need more than a count of 149 passengers on any given day, order for 149 and make a note in your comment field regarding how many additional guests you need to service and we will get back to you immediately with customization details.
Guest Instructions
- Guests should have their bathing suits on prior to departing the hotel.
- Guests should bring a light cover, hat, and non-aerosol sunscreen
- Guests must bring their own towels. Coordinate with your hotel to have a towel bin at the motorcoach entrance during each departure. Guests will drop them at the same location on their return.
Food and Beverage
Breakfast
- Your tour starts with a continental breakfast of 4th generation cinnamon rolls and chilled tropical fruit, complemented with Kona coffee, hot tea, hot cocoa, or pineapple juice.
On the 6:30 am departure oven-baked croissant breakfast sandwiches are provided and on the 10:00 am departure assorted deli wraps are available prior to arrival on Lana’i island.
Lunch
- After a morning of fun, enjoy our Plantation Pulehu (off the grill) BBQ lunch of Kiawe-wood-grilled chicken, vegetarian stir fry soba-noodles, corn-on-the-cob, Kula greens salad with home-made dressing, and assorted soft rolls.
Return Sail Ice Cream and Beverages
- Our return sail is capped off with a dish of locally made ice cream and two adult premium beverages for guests 21+ with ID (Beer, Wine, Cocktails), as well as soda, juice, and chilled filtered water.

- Please make a note in our comment field or provide a dietary restrictions pax list 2-weeks prior to your snorkel dates.
Inclusions
- Food and beverage menu as described above.All captain, crew, and driver gratuities, and Hawaii state tax.
- Snorkel equipment & flotation devices (required for safety reasons)
- A safety-conscious, competent, and friendly crew to provide personal attention to each guest, including snorkel instruction and lessons
- Private guided tours of the island up through Lanai City (currently not available)
- Freshwater showers aboard each vessel
- Sailing (year-round), frequent daily dolphin sightings, and possible whale sightings (December – April)
- Complimentary reef-safe sunscreen if you forget to bring your own
